HAIX® Testimonials
NTOA Testimonials : Airpower® P7 and Airpower® P9
Colin Kelley - Firefighter/EMT Wareham, Massachusetts
About 4 months ago I bought a pair of your Airpower X1 rescue/station boots. I spent a long time, probably about six months, looking for the right boot. I take good care of my feet and I am not afraid to spend good money on footwear. I used to wear cheap boots, side zip paratrooper style rockies, bates, converse etc.. All of these boots are hot, your feet cant breathe and have extended break in periods, and wear out in a few months. I took a leap of faith and spent the money on the X1 and will never go back. I only wish that you had someone in my area so that I could have physically put my hands on the product and tried them on in a store. I have been a firefighter for 23 years and worn alot of shoes and boots and have never found a product that compares to the HAIX product. If you ever want someone to represent/sell or give a testimonial for your product let me know I would be very interested. I am in the market right now for a structural boot but I want to be able to put them on my feet before I buy. Keep up the good work and innovation in your product!

My boots (Airpower P7) are comfortable and durable beyond my expectations. After 8 months of hard use they show very little wear on the soles and toe/heels leather. I waited until I had them for sometime before writing this note. I know the value of good boots because I wear them daily; Haix are great boots. I wish I had found Haix years ago, they would have saved me a lot of money and foot pain on cheaper boots. The leather and finish is tough, the fit is good with all day comfort. The tongue center hook is really a good idea and keeps the tongue in place all day. I work primarily in the logging industry and use these around timber lots and on the farm without fail these are great boots. I recommend these boots to everyone. The company stands behind them 100% and my dealer is top notch. I got mine from Carol Neal at American Safety Associates of Colorado. If you are asking yourself "Are they worth the price?" the answer is a definite YES. Owning my own business I look for value for my money and Haix are a great value.

I purchased my HAIX® Fire Flash boots on July 4, 2002 from Galls as a replacement for 3 different pair of other leather fire boots that had failed in a matter of months. I have since had them resoled 2-3 times and am just now sending them back for a full resole package.
I have worn these boots as a structural fire boot, a duty boot, a SAR boot, an
EMS boot and a hiking boot as well as just around town and in several different
countries. HAIX® is the most comfortable, durable, good looking, surefooted,
footwear I have ever worn. I recommend HAIX® to everyone I know and even
many who I don\'t know and wanted to thank you for making a boot worth owning!
I would never even consider purchasing any boot other than HAIX® now no matter
how good the deal was!

Never before have I encountered a pair of boots that have
satisfied my needs and my comforts so completely.
Thank you for your
excellent standards.

Just received my new pair of X1 boots. I have been wearing the
same pair of Special Fighters for 7 to 8 years! They are great boots, and I
look forward to wearing my new X1's.
Wayne Jowett, Firefighter/EMT
All,
The boots I just received are by far the BEST boots I`ve ever owned. I bought
the Airpower® X1 rescue zip-up and I will recommend all your products to
all the firefighter/EMT`s I know. I am already looking at other products you
sell. Thanks HAIX®.

I purchased HAIX® Fire Hunters approx 1.5 to 2 years ago to replace a pair of standard rubber FF boots.
I purchased HAIX® boots after an exhaustive internet search for advice.
I was able to find 1 department that was unanimous in their decision on FF boots. I wear my boots every third day whether I`m on the Rescue, Truck or Engine. In 2 years, 0 blisters...
This also includes serveral multi alarm fires and some sizable grass fires (Lots of walking and even some running).

On August 17th of this year while conducting a Fire Sprinkler System lnspection
on top of a new roof, I was led across a sky light opening that was covered with
a sheet of thin OSb plywood.
The wood failed and I fell through the hole catching
myself at the roof level, clearing my landing spot, and falling to the concrete
floor below.
Although I broke a rib and a bone in my shoulder, l had no significant
injuries to my feet or ankles after landing on my feet on the concrete.
I wanted
to write and thank you and your company for the quality construction of the HAIX® boots
I wore that day and am still wearing today.
I feel that the excellent construction
of these boots saved my feet and ankles from further injury and I am delighted
to be walking around today.
Again, Thanks for an excellent product!

I have been in the Fire service for 17 years. The First 12 years I spent in dept. issued rubber boots.
I made the decsion and investment to purchase leather boots with my own money and thought I had done my homework on the best leather for my needs.
Unfortunately after a short time in the leather boots I purchased, I realized I had made a mistake.
The boots had shrunk and the sole had already begun to separate from the upper. I then purchased the HAIX® Fire Hunter.
It was by far the best boot I had ever worn. I work in a rather busy fire environment where my boots see quite a bit of action. I used to go through a pair of dept. issued rubber boots in about 8 to 10 months.
I am presently in my original pair of HAIX® Fire Hunters and am closing in on their three year anniversary.
They fit and perform now just like the first day I put them in service. I can not see me ever wearing another fire boot other than a HAIX®.
The fit and comfort of the HAIX® boot makes the hazards of firefighting a little bit easier knowing you do not have to worry about how your boots are going to hold up, no matter what situation you might encounter. If you are asked to climb a ladder and chop a hole in the roof to ventilate, my footing on the roof is not a concern, just the task at hand.
If we are called to climb 28 floors due to power outages and free trapped people in elevators, I know my HAIX® will get me there. If I am ordered to stretch a 1 1/2" hose line into a structure fire, I know my HAIX® are the best protection I can have for the envoirment I am about to face.
I am not big on alot of talk and flashy gimmicks. If you you want a Fire Boot that will do whatever you ask of it in any kind of conditions try the HAIX®.
I'm glad I did.
Trust me you'll be glad too.

This past July, I had the opportunity to attend the Firehouse Expo. While walking the exhibit floor, I met Tim Moore with HAIX® Boots. Tim knew his product very well and went through a thorough presentation on why HAIX® boots are the best duty boot out there. I ended up getting a pair of HAIX® station boots from Tim, and started wearing them in late August.
I'm writing to let you know, these boots are the most comfortable station boots (AIRPOWER® X1) I've ever worn. Besides the outstanding comfort, my feet estay warm and the zippers are very easy to adjust. I know this is just one opinion, but when I slip my foot into one of the boots, the support and padding is unbelievable. I've worn Danner, Magnum Hi-Tec, Thorogood, Red Wings, Red Backs, and Warrington Pro boots; none can compare to HAIX®.

I live in the rainforest and have owned every high dollar boot known to man
and I'm here to tell you that there is no boot on earth that even comes close
to your AIRPOWER® JUNGLE. None even remotely as well designed. These things
are phenominal. I will NEVER wear anything else. Thank you from the bottom of
my feet. Doug Ward Oasis of the Toucans Toucan rescue, cabinas and jungle adventures.
