FIRE HUNTER® AF, equipped with the patented AF system or “Ankle Flex” system, includes stretch inserts that make it easier to put the boot on, adjust the instep variably, and provide optimum foothold. Integrated bending zones make the boot flexible and prevent bruises and blisters, even during long runs. The 14 inch high shaft offers top comfort, flexibility, protection, and safety. The CROSSTECH® membrane is not only watertight and breathable; it also prevents the penetration of chemicals.

The HAIX® climate and MSL systems regulate the moisture and insulate against cold and heat to the best possible degree. Until the advent of the MSL system, the lining of fire fighter boots made by other manufacturers would pull out or crumple up (in creases), but that is no longer possible with the unique MSL system patented by HAIX®.
The lining is firmly attached to the components of the boot and cannot pull out or crumple up.
