HAIX® Shoes + Inlays ![]() The ideal combination of HAIX® shoes and orthopaedic adjustments: According to the guideline of the professional trade association BGR 191 “Benutzung von Fuß- und Knieschutz” (“usage of foot and knee protection”) dated January 2007, orthopaedic changes of certified safety shoes are to be checked for compliance with standards. Together with the company Springer, HAIX® has developed an orthopaedic raw insole which is tailored to all firefighter boots from HAIX® (additional model series in preparation) and can be adjusted to the wearer’s specific requirements. This type-examination tested insole conforms to guideline BGR 191 or GUV-R 191 respectively. In order for your HAIX® shoes to comply with standards even after orthopaedic adjustments (inlay provision and/or shoe elevation), only the following insole type: „Comfort AS“ from Springer, Berlin, may be used for orthopaedic provisions. Each local orthopaedic shoemaker can order this inlay directly from Springer. He will also obtain information about the exact procedure and costs here. The shoemaker finishes the raw insoles ordered from Springer according to the wearer’s individual requirements and adjusts them to the respective foot. Contact address:
